Morning Fog

I have been wanting to get some good fog photos for a long time, but I have never gotten a good chance (at least a chance that I felt like getting out to take photos!)

This morning was the exception. I finally got up early enough and got out in the woods to take some photos of fog in the woods. Check them out:

  9. I particularly like the images looking down the track, leading your eye through the picture to a point that can’t actually be seen, it gives me a sense of reminiscence. Great work!

  10. Fog makes the images so much more interesting. You have some great ones here. My personal fav is Foggy Road 2.
    I am waiting for some fog around my area since I got my new Canon Rebel T3i camera.

  13. What a great set of photo’s. I’ve done a few mornings snapping in fog myself and it’s usually very cold. Sometimes removing the U.V. filter can enhance the effect !!

      I took them a few minutes drive from my house in Pennsylvania, US. I drove up an old jeep trail to the top of the mountain, and this is what I found waiting for me!

  19. My favourite of this set would have to be “Sun through the Fog 2″ – I wonder if you have ever played around with HDR photography? It’s not something I’ve used but it would definitely be suited to photos taken in extreme contrasts situations like this.
